The Swedish newspaper Helsinborg’s Dagblad in collaboration with Landskrona Foto Festival invited photographers from all over the world to apply to their photographic salon during the spring of 2016. The theme for this year’s salon was “Building”. A total of 710 entries from 182 photographers representing 38 different countries were submitted during the application period. Out of these a jury, consisting of JH Engström, Isabelle Darrigrand, Christian Caujolle, Jenny Nordquist, Johan Malmberg and Nygårds Karin Bengtsson, have selected 40 photographs to be displayed in a shop front exhibition in Landskrona’s city center during the summer of 2016.

Nygård’s Karin Bengtsson have also hand picked three photographers for the exhibition It’s so hard to live without you, that will be showing at Norra Långgatan 17 during Landskrona Foto Festival, 19-28 August. The photographers are Priscilla Briggs (US), Victoria Crayhon (US) & Karolina Jonderko (PL).
