Open call: You and me

The Open Call brought in applications from 357 photographers from 50 countries with 1,235 pictures. From these the jury now have selected 40 pictures which will be shown in a shop-window exhibition in central Landskrona from June to September. 

The jury consist of the curators of Landskrona Foto Festival Christian Caujolle and Jenny Nordquist, culture journalist Johan Malmberg and the danish photographer Fryd Frydendahl.

About Open Call 2017

The application is now closed.

Landskrona Foto Festival and Helsingborgs Dagblad are inviting photographers from all over the world to apply to the open submission on the theme of “You and Me”. A jury will evaluate the images submitted and a selection of around 40 images will be exhibited as window displays throughout the city centre.

It’s free of charge to submit 1-4 images on the theme. They can both be single images or part of a series. The festival will pay for the production of the selected images. The exhibition will run from June until September.



About Landskrona: The city of Landskrona, founded in 1413, is on the coast of Skåne in Sweden.

About Landskrona Foto Festival: Ten days of exhibitions, photobooks, seminars, portfolio reviews, artist talks and more. Since the start five years ago Landskrona Foto Festival has established its position as an international meeting place for photographers and those with an interest in photography. Renowned artists are exhibited alongside new, promising names and much of the work on display have never been shown in Sweden or Scandinavia before. 

Photographers such as Duane Michals, Nan Goldin, Lars Tunbjörk, Elina Brotherus, Joan Fontcuberta, Christina de Middel and many more have exhibited at previous festivals.
