Do you live in Öster in Landskrona? Now you have the chance to take part in an exciting photography project where you can share your own view of the area!
We invite residents of Öster to join a creative process where, using a digital camera, you will capture places, people, and moments that matter to you. What does your everyday life look like? What makes Öster your place?
Your photos will be part of an exhibition shown in the neighborhood during the Landskrona Foto festival in September, as well as during Österdagen – a celebration for and with everyone living in the area.
The project is about exploring the image of Öster together – both how it is experienced from within and how it is seen from the outside. Through photography, we will explore what makes a place meaningful and how pride and identity can grow.
As a participant, you will:
- Borrow a digital camera
- Take part in group sessions where we talk about photography and look at your images
- Have the opportunity to exhibit your photos
- Get the chance to be involved in Landskrona Foto festival as a volunteer
When?
- Kick-off: May 5 at Landskrona Foto, 17:30–19:30
- Mid-meeting: May 19 at the library, 15:00–17:00
- Final session: June 2 at Landskrona Foto, 13:00–18:00
- Exhibition: September 4–20
