Every other year, the small town of Landskrona in southern Sweden transforms into a vibrant hub of photography – Landskrona Foto Festival.
The festival was founded in 2013 and took place annually until 2018, when it became a biennial event. The next festival will take place 1–17 September 2028.
Photography becomes an integral part of the urban landscape, appearing in parks and shops while also taking centre stage in the city’s cultural institutions. The passion for photography, the dedication and the ambition to establish Landskrona as a city of photography reach their peak during September.
The festival has established itself as one of Sweden’s most important photography festivals and has also gained international recognition.
