Displaced Reality:
Zed Nelson and Debi Cornwall
The theme of this year’s photography festival is Displacement, a concept that can roughly be translated as “movement,” “dislocation,” or “displacement.”
In this programme, we introduce the festival through the work of two photographers, Zed Nelson and Debi Cornwall, both of whom explore constructed environments in their work.
Zed Nelson’s exhibition The Anthropocene Illusion presents photographs of artificial nature experiences, such as zoos, aquariums, and theme parks. Debi Cornwall’s exhibition Model Citizens features the photographer’s documentation of simulated war environments at military bases across the United States. Two different ways of portraying humanity’s ability to distort reality.
The programme is aimed at lower secondary school, upper secondary school, and adult education groups, and is offered on weekdays from 8–18 September.

Prices: The programme is free of charge for primary and upper secondary schools in the municipalities of Landskrona, Svalöv, and Kävlinge. Other municipalities are charged SEK 350.
Guided tours for adult education groups cost SEK 500 per group. If participants wish to visit other parts of the festival, a reduced-price festival pass is available for SEK 100 per person.
Admission to the entire festival is free for schools with students up to 19 years old, including accompanying teachers.
All group visits must be booked in advance, even for self-guided visits.
